As part of the Sokudo Squad's ongoing activities within in the community, the Sokudo Squad took part in the 2005 Perth Careers Expo.

With weapons demonstrations from Sensei Paul Reed, 2nd Dan, Jonin Trent Mitchell, Phil Holt, N. Chunin Garth, Chunin Cameron, N. Genin Jay-Pierre, and Junior Brown Belt Rocky, the audience was kept in awe. The participation of junior Sokudo member Rocky was a highlight, as he proved that his dedication and training had imparted on him a strong understanding of weaponry and the locking limitations of the human body. The weapons displays were concentrated on striking weapons such as the Bo and Sai, and cutting weapons such as the Kama and Katana.
