A day of perfect weather (even a little too perfect for anyone who burns easily) opened up before us on the Sunday of the Autumn River Festival.  Ninja Crew clocking in for a 10 o’clock start saw a great turn out from the Sokudo Squad and another beautiful weapons display stand thanks to the member donated weapons.  While not quite as large as the recent Hyde Park fair, the day was awash with curious passers-by and eager ears for succulent Ninja stories.  

    With one spontaneous display around lunch time as the crowds got hungry for both grub and entertainment and the official display at 2:00, the squad put in some real sweat to please the crowds in the last leg of summer sun.  The crowd watched along as the various throwing and weapon displays stole their breath and the day.  Ninjas were also spotted wrestling in the bouncy arena and riding the mechanical bull.

    Competition on the day was represented by the police bagpipe band, a giant swan and a plethora of children who’re much better than Ninjas at blowing big bubbles.  Another great display day and we hope to see you all at the next one!
